This last haiku reminds me of a poem that Stuttering John and I wrote back in the day after reading the morose poetry of that old Irish drunk Yeats. The actual meat of the poem is lost in the mist of time (and one mean heroin habit), but the last lines were:
Bitter and alone
a hundred years to early for crack.
